not at all. It's only as complicated as you make it.

I think a great life is a balanced life. Some would feel that life is both simple and complicated but it just depends on what situation you are in at this point in your life. A wise man would always know that he could always choose to have a life not so simple and not so complicated but somewhere in between and live it to the full.

Far more complicated than it needs to be.

You only ever have 50% control over your life at most. You're not in control of the partner that lies and cheats on you or the burglar who thinks you're rich enough to be insured so stealing from you won't cause any loss... or the serial killer who sees you as being so like all the people that have belittled him.

If everybody was 100% honest and put their ego's on the back seat with heavy duty tape over it's mouth, life would be so uncomplicated.

All those negative things give rise to the need to be defensive and secretive or to lie. That then leads to speculation, distrust and disbelief and devious methods to protect or find out the truth.

Truthfully, life is simple. Lives become complicated.

If you choose for your life to be simple, it will become 50% simpler. If you are surrounded by people who are all doing the same, it will become 75% simpler. Your life will always become needlessly uncomplicated by the strangers you meet or fairly unpredictable events like car crashes or floods.

Most people say they would like simple lives but if they were honest, they prefer it the way it is. If life gets too simple, people find ways of complicating it.

The only complication worth having is the process of simplification.

Life is as complicated or as simple as you choose to make it. Situations may come up that seem complex, but you choose how to handle it & whether it gets to you...

ok, easy for me to say! Harder to put into practice. I tend to sweat the small stuff & stress out! I think technology has made our lives more complicated in many ways. Ironically it was supposed to make life easier. We get caught on a treadmill. The things you own own you.

Life would have been more simple way back when...living a rural life, on a farm, with no electricity etc. Still I wouldn't give up all our little toys!

life can be as complicated as we make it. However, there are circumstance that can be beyond our control, like war, death , hungry, terrible nature events, that seem to come and cause complications of our life. They do, no denying this, but it is all in the way that WE handle it. It is us who will have to turn the events into a less complicated situation.

There is a wonderful movie called "A Beautiful Life" it is a foreign movie. Get it see it, and see how one can control their lives even unto the end.

In this poignant tragicomedy, a clever Jewish-Italian waiter named Guido (Roberto Benigni, who won an Oscar for his role) is sent to a Nazi concentration camp during World War II, along with his wife (Nicoletta Braschi) and their young son (Giorgio Cantarini). Refusing to give up hope, Guido tries to protect his son's innocence by pretending that their imprisonment is an elaborate game, with the grand prize being a tank. Benigni also directed.
Starring: Roberto Benigni, Nicoletta Braschi ...

Very complicated - depends a lot on how you were raised and if your parents taught you some good skils in life or if you were left to learn these by yourself along the way. Parents make all the difference.

Life isn't complicated at all. The only thing that makes life "complicated" is how you approach life. If you approach with a good atitude, life will go smoothly. Don't look at others and how they live their life, make up your mind that your life will be simple and smoothly. It's all left up to you. ONLY YOU.

Puh-lease -major eye roll-
"only as complicated as you make it"? Have you ever heard of third-world countries? Apparently not, because that's actually a very selfish answer. Like you're putting people who have hard lives down, because they're apparently making it difficult for themselves. Grow up, seriously. Smell the coffee. Life is complicated, yes, and it's not 100% your own doing. You can't control a large percent of what happens, such as sickness and poverty. Maybe someday you'll realize that.
