i dont break out much but i dont like it when i do. has anyone used proactive if so does it really work?

my friend said it worked great for a couple weeks, then completely stopped working

Proactiv works on some and not on others. Just like how one size doesn't fit all, one bottle doesn't work for all. I suggest trying some drugstore brands first before Proactiv. Like Clean and Clear, Clearasil, Neutrogena, Biore.....there's so many out there. The only active ingredient in Proactiv is Benzoyl Peroxide. Try finding a product that has that or salicylic acid. I have used it, it works, but it can be too harsh. I am like you, I don't break out much, but I freak out when I do. I tried the proactive line and it was really harsh on my skin.

I use the product and it has kept my acne under control. I do believe it works differently for everyone. You are able to try it and return it if you are not happy with the results. Being that you say you have very little break outs, I think it would work for you. I have moderate breakouts but have them under control now. Thanks proactive.....:)

Proactive, hasn't worked for me and all my friends and we range from skin type. I have real light acne, and I didn't do anything for me, and my friend has awful acne and it made her break out worse. I would consider using stridex, I am like you, and it helps my skin. Good Luck!

use neutrogena oil free acne wash i love this stuff it dries out your pimples cleans down to the pores and helps prevent pimples from coming back again it also keeps ur face fresh,clean and smooth..i love it and i suggest you try it it works alot better than proactive and its a lot cheaper too...lol i sound like an add for it

i use it and really keeps my acne under control. But i can't tell you for sure. you just have to try it yourself because in the end it will depend on your skin type.

i have used it, it made my skin fracture worse then using none. i find it best to just use oxy on small amounts of your face during the day or at night

it actually depends on the type of skin that u have
if you have oily skin i dont recomend it
