There is an unelected group in the US that wields more power than any president- the Military Industrial Complex. Eisenhower, a 4 star general and a REPUBLICAN, warned us about this in his farewell address; he admitted being scared they would interrupt democracy in our country by influencing war just to sell their products.

The strategy that is used to gain influence is by spreading out the industrial complex into each state they need influence. Senators will want to create jobs for his constituents and get the contributions from the complex.

Government officials will be offered sweetheart consulting positions after office if they agree to assist in making the US an ever bigger military superpower. The only problem is where will it end, and at what cost? Eisenhower talked about the iron cross. We should listen today now more than ever.

You think it matters what president or which party we have in office. It doesn't. Some presidents are just more susceptible to influence than others (BUSH and the Republicans) and initiate the military influenced changes more quickly. The MIComplex prefers a fascist style government b/c it's easier to sell its concepts/ideas/products. They pushed for Patriot Act a long time ago, several times, but under different names.

President Bush is serving at the most difficult time in our history since WWII. The threat of bombs and nuclear weapons being launched on America has never been greater and NO ONE else seems to have an answer. It is so easy to criticize without offering any solution.

Our economy is good! Our taxes have steadily declined! Unemployment is very low. We would not have a problem with oil if the Dem's hadn't bucked drilling in the U.S. for decades so Pres. Bush is not responsible to high or low oil prices! Pres. Bush is dealing with an immigration problems which the Dem's so enthusiastically embrace.

If the Dem's try to take over their main business is provoking law suits using the time they should spend working for their constituents.

What do you really know about what is going on? People that can only criticize w/o knowing the facts are pathetic.

Pres. Bush is consistent and stands firm in our best interest unlike those who govern by the polls.

Please quit worrying about Pres. Bush and learn to spell and construct a decent sentence. You surely can't know what is going on if your education has been so limited.

"The conflict we are witnessing international isn't a conflict of religions, or a conflict of civilizations. that's a conflict between 2 opposites, between 2 eras. that's a conflict between a mentality that belongs to the middle a lengthy time period and yet another mentality that belongs to the 21st century. that's a conflict between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality. that's a conflict between freedom and oppression, between democracy and dictatorship. that's a conflict between human rights, on the in reality hand, and the violation of those rights, on distinct hand. that's a conflict between those who look after females human beings like beasts, and those who look after them like human beings. That Bush was really after Bin Laden is a fairy tale. Who believes that really? Just befor the 911 Bin Laden was taken care of in an american hospital in Dubai. And everytime during the war in Afghanistan the CIA let Bin Laden go!
In an interview Bush didn't really know if it was Hussein or Bin Laden he is after. Bush is ridiculous.

No, I don't belive that! For sure not!

He makes America appear weak to the rest of the world, maybe not in terms of military power, but certainly it's influence around the world. How the hell he's still president I can only blame on the fact that a little christian advertising can sway the vast majority of those actually aloud to vote anyway!

Lassie would do a better job.

I think that George Bush is a strong leader who is doing everything humanly possible to keep our country safe and keep our freedoms intact. It's about time we had someone in the White House who stands behind what he says despite the grief he's given. At least he's focused on protecting our country instead of playing smoke the cigar with some young intern in the oval office. Clinton could have taken out Osama bin Laden when he was in office but he ignored it and let him go back to his hole in the ground. How many affairs did he have while in office? That's what he was doing instead of running the country.

GWB is a lying venal dim dangerous and ineffectual SOB. If he went after Osama B Laden like he went after Clinton, Osama BL would have been dead long ago. This is the scrote who wanted to nuke Pakistan and bomb Al Jazeera? The worst president there has ever been, even worse than Nixon and Coolidge.
