The 1st example that popped into my head...Spring morning, sitting in my car with the moonroof open, waiting at a stop light, the music is my favorite, there is a break in the clouds and I can lift my face and feel the sun! That is beautiful...favorite music, sun on my face after a long winter, in my car driving down the road...simple beauty...then you hear them beep at you to stop daydreaming and get movin'!
I just moved to the south...some of the oak trees here are so beautiful...I could just sit and gaze at them...so yeah...I can be distracted by great natural beauty and simple pleasures we all to often take for granted.

Great beauty is perceived differently by all of us but yes. I have been distracted in that----- take a deep breath----- happy sigh, kind of way. :)
I love to watch my parents look at each other like they were still teenagers. Hugging, smiling, being not only affectionate towards each other but aware of each other. It totally takes my breath away to see that people can still love like that. I hope that I will have that one day and I will be taking someones breath away :)

sometimes it will depend on mood but yes. I really like it in the morning and calm eves. I think morning is my favorite. You wake from a good night's sleep feeling very relaxed,content and happy, you go outside and your surroundings seem to match your mood and thought. YOu are left awe struck by the combination of things.

This is an excellent question. I live in the country and at night the stars are just amazing. I've caught myself many many times just looking up at the night sky, totally distracted.

There is this gorgeous girl I see everyday riding the metro to school. She is 14 years old, 6'2", has nice big teeth, and looks like she is 20. She's a model. Although I am gay, I can't even think when I'm around her.
I know I am fabulous!
