Birthday, just because, or any other kind?

i received a very nice thank you card yesterday..from a friend i helped get back on own two feet. i havent seen my friend in 20 years. was having financial difficuties..i gave a helping hand..been doing it for 1 year..finally their lives turned around and didnt need anymore help. being a good samaritan is rewarding ah yes?

The last cards I got in the mail
were for my birthday in March.

No, haven't got the mail yet, and nobody will send me a card.
Because..my birthday was in June, I don't know anybody, I'm not sick, it's not Christmas, and nobody is having a baby or a wedding.

My husband got nine different birthday coupons from
local restaurants here in town. We have no idea why,
because 8 of them we have never eaten at before.
And I did not get a single dang one!! LOL
