My husband's daughter looks to me as her Mom.
Bless her heart, her real Mom was a self-involved bat!
So, she calls me or comes to me for many things, even
though she is married and a mother herself. She just
did not get what she needed from a mother figure when
she was little. But, her Dad did the best he could, for
being a man that is. LOL (whoops, hubby saw that..lol)
Have a great day.

My dogs think they're human, and I am their Mama. I have been friends with a guy I know for many years, and through the years I have become very close to his mother also. My mom died a while back, and this woman gives me love and support and advise when I ask for it. I consider her a very special part of my life.

My children look up to me that way, and there was someone I looked up to that way. Haven't seen him in a few years though.
Why?
This is a good question.

Well I babysit my great niece a lot and I plan fun activities for us to do. She begs to come to my house now all the time. Her mom walked out on her when she was 2.
