Newborn diapers and clothes as well as other sizes are based on the physical size of the baby, not the age. The ages on the packages are just a guideline for someone who has no idea of what to buy.
There are a lot of babies born that at birth are too large for newborn sizes. Newborn sizes are really more for premature babies than just any newly born baby.
Time to go out and buy some bigger sizes. As for the ones you have, if unopened you might try taking them back to the store for exchange. Otherwise, look for a teen pregnancy support center to donate them too. Young women that have made a mistake and are now faced with a challenge could use all the help they can get.
Good luck and congratulations on the new baby.

At 3 months , she is no longer a newborn. She needs clothing sizes 3-6 months now. My daughter was out of newborn diapers within the first 3 to 4 weeks . Time to move on to size 1 .

Go Up A Size! And be well aware that your baby will soon again not be able to fit into the size 1 diapers and you'll have to go up to SIZE 2...then 3, then 4, then 5, then 6....

it sounds like it's time to move up to a bigger size. I'm really surprised that she lasted this long in newborn diapers. Babies grow fast and all you can do is go with the flow and keep buying bigger stuff as she gets bigger.

This is going to be an amazing thought so brace yourself: Buy new ones! What, you thought the kid wasn't going to grow? Or she was going to grow on your schedule? You should have been prepared before the child was born that you were going to have to buy new diapers and new clothes every couple of months until she reaches a certain age. My son is almost 3 and he can now where 3T and some 2T. For a time, we had to buy bigger than he was so, for example, he was 6 months but we bought 12 months. We don't have to do that anymore, but we had to do it for a long time. That's just the way it is.

Just go up a size in diapers. It sounds as if you have a healthy baby who is ready for a shopping trip! Babies grow so fast. Don't waste money at the mall go to a "Once upon a Child" or other consignment shop or thrift store. Most babies don't wear clothes long enough to really mess them up.(At least not until they are over a year old.) Besides, why spend top dollar on something she'll only wear a few times anyway. You don't have to give up name brands to shop second hand.

Go get larger diapers and clothes. I am surprised that she has fit into the newborn things this long. None of my children and all but one of my grandchildren were out of newborn things by the time they were two months old. The one that was in them longer was actually born 2 months early and was only 3lbs 9oz when we brought her home.
Also when you buy things for her it is wise to get things a little bit big. They don't stay little long and you will need things a little big.

Sweetheart, its time for size 1 or 2 diapers, and get a few outfits size 3-6 month outfits and see if they fit...if not try size 3 diaper and 6-9 month clothes. I know they grow so fast, but for now on it will be trial and error. good luck.
