Well let me tell you 13 years is still very young. I am a 31 years old who goes trick or treating with my son every year. I dress up with my own costume and my son has his costume on as well. I love it!! Their is no appropriate age limit to stop going trick or treating. It's when the person wants to stop doing it, to me it is very fun. If you are concern that people wont give you candy, you shouldn't be.. Look at me I still get candy!!! Don't worry so much about what people might think, I stop doing that a long time ago. You could never please everybody!!! I think if you and your friends want to go trick or treating , you guys should go for it!!! Remember you only live ounce as a teenager enjoy it while you can. But be very careful go in a group and to bright neighborhoods. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I dont think there is any age to stop trick or treating or dressing up. I think its a blast. It would be fun though to give your treats to a local hospital to all the kids that cant go trick or treating. dDressing up is soo much fun I love to dress on halloween and I still do Im 50 so age doesnt matter its the pure fun of it Go have a blast dress up and give the treats away to a local charity

Personally, I trick or treated until I was a senior in high school. Most people won't mind giving you candy as long as you are costumed. I have refused to give candy to teen-agers who aren't dressed up. Just in case, take a younger sibling with you, a younger cousin, or a niece/nephew along with you. Its fun...its free candy. Don't ever let anyone tell you're too old to do something you enjoy.

My 16 yr old daughter says 15 is the right age, BUT my 18 yr old still wants to go t or ting and I don't care.
My 32 yr old ex hubby still dresses up and I do too. The whole Halloween thing is cool cause you get to dress up and, for one night be someone you aren't.
Don't put too much stock into the whole trick or treating thing. Going to someones door and begging for candy is kinda silly. BUT if you have fun then do it!!!!

13? I would say GO FOR IT. most people will still give you kids candy (yeah at 13 you are still a kid, and therefore trick or treating is your right) and the ones that don't have no sense of humor, so thier candy prolly sux anyways, like candy corn or tootsie rolls. and if any of your friends give you crap about trick or treating, just tell them that you guys had fun, and ask what boring thing they did for halloween!

Make the best costumes you can. People love to see creativity - bet they would be happy to give adults candy if the costume made them smile.
When teens in street clothing show up - or hooker outfits or bloody tee shirts - you just kind of loose the good feeling.

Its been 10 years but me and my friends went when we were 13. If you choose a costume that covers you well and is not grown-up looking noone will know.

[ we skipped 7th bc we thought we were too old and cool to go]
