I view them as a doctor, and wouldn't tip. I would, however, bring a nice card or gift, like, fruit, juices or treats to be shared with staff of family. A gesture of thanks or kindness is nice and creates goodwill among all.

It usually goes, if they provide a service for you, you tip. I would suggest if it is in a clinic or doctors office and insurance pays for most, I would say NO. But, if the person comes to you or you go to a wellness center or like, YEP you bet.

If the person is self-employed, it would not be sensible to tip.
Tipping is an anachronism, anyway, and open to a great deal of abuse. One should not tip, on principle. If an employer can't see their way to providing a reasonable wage, then it is not the customer's business to support that policy!

Yes. They provide a service. They deserve a tip. How much? $5

tipping is not the point, just pay your bill punctually, sorry I really was not intending to needle you with puns, but I find it hard not to poke fun, your practitioner should be sharp enough in his practice to charge enough.
Please don't let this get under your skin.

no, they already make plenty of money. If you would like to give them a Christmas gift or birthday gift, that would be fine, but not necessary.
