I know how you feel. Next time you have your period then mark it in you calender. When the next month comes your period should come a couple of days before the date of last month or about the same time. When this time comes start putting pads in your purse. Then you'll be ready for whatever it throws at you.

hi,
Period is natural happening, and it is not possible to predict the exact timing at which it will start, and in case it starts some time at in college it becomes verymuch difficult to manage.
but it is possible to judge the approximate day at which it may start, and then get prepaired for the same by having the remidies like s.pad in the school bag. I know some schools where to have the pad in school bag is compulsory for the girls in and above 8th standard.
To get rid of fear consulting experts, or discuss the problem with the ladies, friends, mother, will definitely help to reduce or eliminate the fear.
All the world is run by the invisible power, prey this power not to let in such unforsen problem.

i feel the same way...but what i do is if i feel like i am about to come on whether it is at home or the morning of school, i put a pad on just to be cautious and if i so happen to come on during school there will be something there to keep it from getting on my clothes. You should probably try it. If u have cramps then that should be a sign that u r coming on and u could take advantage of that and put a pad on ahead of time...i sure hope that helps you

Just be prepared.
You'll notice mood changes or bloating, stuff like that.
If you've already had your first period count the days on the calender.

Have a permanent stash of panty liners in your bag at all times. Wear them when you feel you have tummy cramps.

you'll know when its coming (bloated, larger breasts, pms) so just make sure you where a thin panty liner when you think its gonna happen. bring a tampon, or pad to school and put it in your locker just in case.
