he looks older that 47 or what is his "age"
Dale Jarret is about the same age & he looks great
Ken Schrader is 50 or more I don't know & he looks better

Mark Martin had a serious drinking problem years ago--almost cost him his family and his career. This isn't gossip, I have heard him speak of it in more than one interview. That could have something to do with it.
Martin is an intensely competitve guy and appears to be pessimistic sometimes so his attitude could be part of it. Schrader stays young by acting like a kid, hanging out with Mikey, and racing whenever/wherever/whatever he can. Of course, lots of drivers look "old" compared to Kasey Kahne, Kyle Busch, and Denny Hamlin. ;)
Also, remember all the drivers spend time in the sun, in hot race cars, and have pretty grueling schedules. (Ever see Ashley Judd at a race? She is the poster child for taking care of your skin.)

No Mark Martin is not lying about his age. He's always on the road so that takes a toll on his body.

Well I agree I thought Mark Martin was older than Rusty Wallace But He is not Rusty Wallace is older than Mark Martin. Well If you look at his childhood pictures he looks older than he was in them. Mark is just one of those guys that looks older than he is.

He has alot of the rough world that some of us get. So driving the hell out of a car is his way to deals with it.

you are so right. he looks so much older than he says he is. i mean i believe him when he says his age but apparently nascar has aged him.
