Supposedly, Armitage said these words...'we'll blow your country back into the Stone age if you don't help us...'

and...'you're either with us or against us'.

Yes I think it was said to impress upon them that sitting on the fence was no longer an option. The time had come when they had to take sides and while there were consequences regardless which side they took, taking the other side would have had far greater consequences. Pakistan, internationally, is an emerging nation with politicians who wish to see it move forward. They could not do that had they not cooperated.

Pre-9/11 pakistan was a main supporter
of the Taliban.
Therefore afterwards Armitage could easily
have conveyed THAT message, or similar>..

Of course he has to deny it ...(IF he said so)

Whatever happened to "SHOCK & AWE" ?
One cant "shock & awe" a lunatic , preparing
the next car-bomb in Baghdad.... or a
hezbollah twit, hiding in bunkers like a rabbit
waiting for the weather to clear .....

No matter WHAT , "YOU're either with us etc."
is a dumb statement. Mooselums will ALWAYS
BE against ANYONE who doesnt CONVERT...

Mix Religion, Culture, Colour at your
OWN BLOODY RISK .....

ONLY feasable SOLUTIONS ;
1. Annihilate
2. Put everyone back in "their" ENCLOSURE...

Best Wishes ....

Yes, and I didn't even think it was a secret. I think there was a news story about it at the time, even. I'm SURE I had heard about it before Musharraf took it up again this week. Or maybe I'm psychic.

Bush certainly denied knowledge of it. Yet, even after a conversation with Bush, Musharraf didn't back down on his claims.

Considering the way that they treat women in Pakistan, I thought they still were in the stone-age.

Gee! Would the U.S. government under Bush ever be so mean as to say something like that? We're the good guys, remember? At least we used to be. Or believed we were. Or something.

US would never attack Pak, its all political neeti, coz one thing what US currently dont want (or rather is afraid off) is Indias development as a super power. Pak could be very useful for US in overcoming it.

All dear Pakistanis dont be afraid of US attack!

I am not sure if these words were said nor something similar to it. I can be sure that we would have if they continued to harbor terrorists.
