When I was fourteen I was in love. Truly in love. I am 30 and I still love that man. Things did not work out for us and we went our seperate ways. Learned to love other. BUT if you really love someone, you always will. Time will not erase that. And what you need is time and you have plenty of that.

I don't think love has an age limit. I also feel that we can experience love on many different levels. You may be experiencing admiration for an individual or you may actually be experiencing love. I think the issue is your emotional maturity and your ability to cope with the feelings you are experiencing. At fourteen love for a person of the opposite gender (or recieving love from a person of the opposite gender in your peer group) should not be a concern. You have a lifetime ahead of you and friends and family to love you and validate you're appearance, personality, existance, etc...

Yes 14 is too young. Don't worry about Love and boys yet it will only cause problems you don;t need at this time of your life. You will fall in love many times before you find the right one,, but this one is not it ,even if it feels like it to you. Your feelings will change next month just wait and see.

It depends. Normally, a child at that age won't truly understand what love is, or when true love hits them in the face, because of having little experience in the matter. But on the other hand, if they are absolutely certain they are in love with them, then they shouldn't go against their better judgement.

For 99.999999% of girls, yes. You have so little life experience at that age. The feeling may be strong, but at that age, and lack of maturity, it really is highly unlikely. You might think you are mature at 14, but wait till you get to 18 and think back. Then wait till 25, 35, etc. Sheesh! You'll think that you were such a tool...

Love ? or infatuation?

Love doesn't disappear with time. Is this "love" going to be replaced in a month or a year? Without commitment, you don't know. and 14 is too young to commit yourself to another

beware of older or "more experienced" lovers that try to get you to "realise". You'll just be a statistic to them

Yes. A 14 year old's brain isn't fully developed yet. As an adult, you will look back at your personality at 14 and be surprised at how different you turned out, from how you were as a young teen. Every teenager has crushes, but true love is much different.

You will have many true loves during your lifetime. One or more of them you will marry. Be patient, enjoy the current one, and the next, and the next. You may meet your first at fourteen but it won't be your last.

I would guess. I mean you still have 4 years till you can actually marry. Think about how much can happen in just one day. Feelings change about peole. Now think about what could happen in four years. Alot of things can happen between you and your prince charming.
