Its not torture its just more effective right?

amosunkown.....are you of the opinion that terrorism is a greater threat to the homeland than drugs? Take the blinders of and see how many people ( especially under 18 ) that die each year from illegal drugs. Its a BIG problem

Its more severe. Terrorists pose a threat to our homeland and the safety of millions, without giving us any mercy.

Drug dealers provide people with options to ruin their lives by their own choice.

The problem is that people are so brainwashed that they cant call something worse than something else. One person, or one type of person, realy can be worse than the worst, and should be treated as such.

Stop trying to make it seem like theyre dancing around in tutu's and were just ruining their flower party. Theyre trying to kill you, the governments trying to stop them.

the priority is, if that is "harmless and would not harm," that is not going to be very powerful in getting information out of somebody who's looking forward to or arranged to undergo torture, is it? and because waterboarding would not do any everlasting actual harm, why can not you tell any innocents you have interrogated "sorry we waterboarded you" and permit that be that?

that's right. anyone suspected of any crime - speeding, shoplifting, jaywalkijng - should have their fingernails pulled out and genitals electrocuted.

torture doesn't work.
