I'm Looking for this old Children's Book?

There is this Kids book that I used to read all the time when I was7.
It was about a brother and sister who's, I think it was their Uncle, who owned this Old Hotel and he died and left the hotel to their father.

They began exploring the hotel to find it was haunted.
They also began having conversations with some of the ghost like in the sauna where the ghost would write messages on the glass with the steam.

I don't remember much except a few details but I remember I liked it very much.

Does anyone remember this book? i think it came out sometime in the 80's.

Sounds like one of those books like Bailey School Kid Adventures series, but those started coming out around 1990 so maybe not. could it be something from the Goosebump or Nancy Drew series?
