No, and let me explain why. I'm not a malicious or selfish person, in fact I'm the opposite. There is a difference between benevolence and foolishness. To propose that I forsake my life, my life that I love, for someone I don't know from an ant hill is a little much to ask. I have a daughter, a husband, and my family who kinda like having me around, and I would not make them grieve over me because I leaped into a fleeting moment of nobility for a stranger. I'm sorry, that's how I feel.

Depends on the circumstances...sometimes when a person is in need and a tragic accident has happened you just jump into action without thinking of the risks to yourself so for me yeah I would probably risk my life if someone really needed help. If I had a long time to think about it and all the risks to my own life before helping out.. then prolly not!!
