Its been years since I went the doctor, but the passed year I have started to have a lot of things happent to me, Im so fed up now I just want it all to go in one go. Is it best me going private and paying for it to get it done quickly or will my doctor do it, she is only present at the doctors in mornings?

She will do it if you tell her ahead of time that you want a full physical. Your insurance might not cover that, by the way.
Your doctor just needs to know ahead of time what you need. Don't expect a big workup in a 15 minute appointment. Some doctors have slots in their schedules for longer visits; you need to tell them that you need a longer visit.
You might be better off making a list of what is wrong and asking your doctor which things on your list require an appointment for the two of you to go over them.
Being "fed up" and wanting it all in "one go" is not the best way to take care of your health.

Sounds like you need to establish a relationship with a good doctor....you may need to do some research but it will be worth it in the end. Get the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz and that will give you guidance. I learned that you can negotiate some great prices with your doctor from the book!!!!....There are so many more cost saving tips, but you need to go to Barnes and Noble and get the book because this email would be forever if I told you all that I learned!!!!!! Save all your receipts too, because you might be able t write some of your expenses off and look into executive physicals!

I had a check-up last year at The Greenbrier Clinic in Lewisburg, WV. They have scheduling down to the second, you wait for nothing. The doctors are prompt, curteous and caring. It takes about 2 days. They have a lovely hotel at the Greenbrier or you can stay in one of the local hotels. Cost is about 800 dollars for the medical care, tests included.

Make an appointment to have the check-up asap. It may take a while but doctors do allow time for full medical checkups for their patients. Don't worry about not going to the dr for a while - soem patients go often, some rarely....it is understandable in a practice.

Hi if you have medical problems or you think you have something wrong with you then yes they will give you a full medical, but i would advise you to let the receptionist know when you make he appt as they may need to give you a longer appt time,as we are only usually given 10 minutes per person.Good Luck

Your Doctor can do it, although they may charge for it. Lots of sports like squba diving or serious flying require you to have a medical.

everyone needs a complete physical exam from time to time, this will help to determine if you are having blood sugar problems, heart problems, they all do blood work and through that this will let the doctor know what is out of whack...Alan

For a top quality medical FREE; apply for life insurance. They will ask you to have a medical. Have it, then cancel the policy during the 'cooling-off' period.
