I have a friend that I had a crush on in High School and now he wants something more...i have a three year old son to look after and I am worried...should I let my guard down and date this guy or not?

I really wouldn't be comfortable with it myself at all - besides, I thought you and your husband were trying to conceive a second child

If you love your son and respect yourself, you'll get rid of this guy.
My daughter was molested by a man I thought was my friend. He just got out of prison after serving 11 years and is now on the other side of the state. Sweetie, I pray you make the right decision... God Bless you and your son.

i ll be nice and not say something to affeend u but no that is a bad ? / just because u go to jail and get out dose not mean you are better for a crime like thatt / its hard to beleive you asked pepole can get maener in jail / its is a punishment / not to correct you / and if you dont correct your self you will be in a hell of a lot more troulbel / the oods are agaist you when release like i say it is a punishment / not to mention what i think about you and every one eles / if i had a son iwould not as much let him look at him / understand ?

No, it will always be an issue. Even if you are comfortable, think of when your son is old enough to have friends over. When the other parents find out his stepfather is a sex offender, they probably won;t let their kids come over.

Why would you even consider it?? Especially with a child of your own?
And what does he have to offer you or your son just getting out of prison?

You have serious judgement issues if you even associate with this guy. You should be focussing on your son. Where is your husband? You need a stable life for your son.

What does your gut tell you? This is a no brainer. Why go here to ask this anyway? Just tell the guy (in a nice way) you dont want to be romantic and leave it at that.
