The reason i ask this question is beacuse i think if Marc Bolan was still alive i think that T-Rex would be one step ahead of Queen.

T.Rex without a doubt.
No T. Rex, no Ziggy Stardust, no bands inspired by Bowie.
Whereas no Queen means no Darkness. Not much of a loss.

T Rex without a doubt,if Marc would have been driving his car instead of his girlfriend he would still be alive today...and he was progressing at a much faster rate musically...

Even though I think T-Rex were fantastic, I do not think you can compare them to Queen or even put the the 2 together as the types of music were so different.
I think they both have equal merits and room for both in musics history.
