Not sure if that'd be a good idea.
It'd just make it even harder to administrate.
And in that case, if they fall, they'd make an even bigger wave.

YES, they are going to merge so that they can be better than Japan and other foreign cars.

I wouldn't bet on it. While both big automakers are in financial trouble right now, a merger is probably the worst thing they could do to solve their problems.

if thats what it takes to survive they will. chrysler was fortunate to cut a deal with the government. i feel a foreign company might slide in to help them as well.

thats a big no. it wouldn't be good for them financially, the stock would plunge and then they'd both loose their asses.

no but they are going to start working together to lower there cost
