That is the problem more with so called developed/advanced countries. The life style there is such that human values are not considered. All runs for their survival and as much money they can earn and love, sentiments, attachments etc have no value. All relationships are considered breakable and no tears are shed when such athing happen. But in countries like Asia, Africa etc, even though considered under developed, the family relations are still strong.The father believes that he has to look after the children as long as he is alive and that his children want. The son believes the value of parenthood and always care for their aging parents. Sisters love brothers, cousins love each other and respect each other, society loves each other and are bound by unwritten social norms. Thus this social system does not need a specific day to remember their mother(mother;s day) father(father's day) lovers day etc. as at all times these are remembered.The more advanced you are the more detached you are.!!.

Yes that is true in some cases. The adults who only care about thier own happiness should have not had any children. Thats called neglect in my book; When you have children you are suppose to do whatever it takes to be there for them and give them what they need in life. Being a good parent is the most rewarding job in the world. If you are not capable of giving your children all the love they deserve without being selfish,then you shouldnt have kids to begin with.

There may be some selfish adults out there, but there are just as many selfish children. Some kids think the adults should support them their whole lives, that adults aren't allowed at some point to enjoy their own lives.

Kids are number one is an adult life but when the child start wanting too much and not respecting the adult then that's when the adult takes a stand and step back a little.
