yes I have an open mind.

I do not hate anyone without knowing them so am mystified and can only guess badly. perhaps they are fools

Yes I am very open to others before i know them but not a complete dolt that totally trusted everyone completely. I reserve judgment and move cautiously at frist to test new people.

Trusting a stranger can kill you in this dangerous world. Ted Bundy was a very likable serial killer that used girl's trust of his good looks to get them where he could kill them. nevr judge a book by its cover.

I agree with the first answer that it is ignorance. We live in a day of plenty and people tend to not be as caring when they have an abundance of materialistic needs. I think a good example is with the Illegal Immigrants that is arriving in our country daily. We tend to place them all in one category and dislike the group because of the arguments that have been publicized . If we met them one on one and saw their needs, more than likely , they would become an individual with needs rather than just Immigrants in our mind. It is hard to turn away from a hungry or sick person and not offer help. There are a lots of vicious and uncaring people in our nation and they seem to get all the headlines and we learn to fear them. I hope this answers your questions.

People hate what they fear. They generally fear things that are unknown or unfamiliar or strange to them, thus they hate people without knowing them.

Some mature, wise, worldly people are willing to hold judgement back until they know someone better.

There is no less trust in the world now then there was 100, 500, 1,000, 10,000 or 100,000 years ago. People are afraid, and they do not trust others easily.

Ok?

People today tend to believe whatever they hear. For example, tons of people HATE Britteny Spears. Have they met her? no. But they trust everything that they hear and think she is some awful person. It is hard for some people to not judge before he/she knows a person. Political leaders have a lot to do with the trust issue. I mean, everyone seems to be on trial theses days!

it would be nice if we could answer questions on hatred, but people dislike for different reasons some don't make sense, but that's what makes the world go round, if people were perfect we would not need doctors ,schools or church, do your part and I will do my part ,just a small part of the world will be hate free

I'm gay and my friends are either transgender or gay them selves. I call a equal exchange of respect an open mind with us.

I do.
Some people are taught to hate....like racial hate or hating gay people. Some hate out of fear.
