Sounds like whoever wrote the page the link is on has made a mistake.
Copy the entire link, including the http://www part by highlighting it all and then right clicking the highlighted text then choosing Copy from the menu.
Now open your web browser and left click in the address bar to place the cursor there. Delete the existing address text and right click to choose Paste which will paste your previoisly copied text in. Now either press Enter or click the Go buitton to visit the site.
