I'm behind several weeks on this soap. How are they going to deal with Benjamin Hendrickson's real-life death?

I've been wondering the same thing. He's not been mentioned since the last episode that he taped aired, until this past week.
Someone asked for him at the police station, and, I believe that it was Margo who said he was away at a conference.
That's been the last anyone's mentioned him.
The whole killed in the "big storm" probably has some potential.
His death was a tragedy, and a real loss - to the show, and to his friends, fans and family.

I think they may kill him off in the storm that will hit Oakdale during the week of Sept. 25th but that would cause the fans to scream murder.
