Current Nano 2GB owner with the iTunes program for the Nano. If I get a different type of iPod, i.e. original iPod.....

If iTunes can have more than one library.....can both libraries hold some of the SAME songs if I so choose without conflict?

See my earlier responses to your questions--you'll have ONE library, but have control over which songs go to which iPod, using different methods. It's not an issue of libraries, but of playlists derived from the library.

For example, you could file your songs into different playlists (Playlist #1, #2, #3), and say Playlists #1 and #2 sync up to iPod A, while playlists #2 and #3 sync up to iPod B. (yes, there can be overlapping selections). Things can be done manually on a song-by-song basis, but doing this through playlists is probably the most convenient way.
