Neopets.com it is the safest and reliable website for kids it also gives them a little light on being an adult like ernign money but playing games or getting a job, feeding your pet, pampering, and even building a home for your pet to make it happy

I have a 16 yr old daughter and she used to go onto the "Saddle Club" website. This site is for young girls who have an interest in horses.
Another couple of websites she could check out are the "Animal Planet" www.animalplanet.com
and try your local veterinarian's site.

Well, shes twelve, so idk if it will still interest her, but try neopets.com. i have never heard a complaint of things that shouldnt be there so that would be safe, free, and they are online pets. oh, and you can equip them with stuff and they can fight, but its not graphic violence
