Could be-could be intel. Says he died of acute typhoid, which is more realistic than kidney issues, as his latest published photos do not indicate jaundice. (Yellow eyes, etc.) But for you, question number 1. His poor health has been brought up before-WHY and WHEN and BY WHOM? (Legitimate world leaders-or people in power, as a rule, ALWAYS wish to portray a vision of healthiness to their followers-regardless of their condition-(positive health or probable positive outcome until the very end is the motto)-it is just a general rule to evoke feelings of faith within their following-it calls for stability-"sorta like an "opposite of terrorism" trick or spin, if you want to look at it that way, that governments use, this can be proven throughout time in any press, regarding presidents, etc.---i.e. Reagan was shot, but he is up and around and okay-he has the health of a 40 year old man, blah, blah, blah-you get the picture) Question number 2. But maybe the terroristic world wants to delegate someone else, or themselves, as a "leader" in Bin Ladens position? Question number 3. Since Bin Ladens health, or for that matter, being alive, is brought up, again, within the timing circumstances of the global goings-on right now, and seeing how when there was emphasis on things going on the the world people wished to have stopped, like the invasion of Iraq, or the heightening of its reality thereof, like when the last "health/life" alert was made public, could it be another countries public relations in the hopes that it may get us off of THEIR back? WHY and WHEN and BY WHOM? And so, even with these most important questions probably being probed at this very moment, if not already resolved, from an intelligence gathering viewpoint by governments wishing to know this question----It is MY opinion that even considering ALL of the above involved possibilities for a FALSE claim of his death of things asked as to the validity of your questions possibility by the facts that (a) No government or person has stood forth to claim a new role as "leader" in this respect. (b) Bin Laden is all about being a Martyr, and for people wishing for us to "back off" by claiming he is dead- where's the body? Or, if he is just indeed dead, same question. The plastic surgery thing can be done without having to rumor the dead thing. I think AFTER you sit back and analyze it, if it is in the news, and money buys us a trail to Saddam's hole in the ground, but cannot lead us to a body in Bin Ladens case-a MARTYR, this crosses off the by whom and when thing, because global intelligence has learned from the past that rumors about Bin laden don't make him "press-crazy" and disclose where he is. SO, I can only conclude from this that this rumor was bought by U.S. intelligence, so as to show the world leaders that we are still looking for him, and so the ones who ARE in connection and communication and alliance with him will start to feel ill-feelings for their problems they face because of him, and then they will send someone to kill Bin Laden themselves. Kiki, I agree that we will not stop the war on terrorism regardless. Kiki-also keep in mind that intelligence is shared, or bought, or coerced all of the time, and France is 20% Muslim, maybe they think Bin Laden is hiding there? Earl-you are correct, intelligence did say that saddam had weapons of amss destruction, but we found none......But intel also says Osama exists, and we haven't found him yet either-doesn't mean its not there if you dont see it, you klnow what I mean.

Okay, here's another concept besides the intelligence thing behind it all. Osama was a long time ago, tired of construction and Snapple distributorships, and business in general. And so, through connections, he worked for the U.S. to find out who had WMD's and anti-American sentiment, and became an information gathering magnet for the U.S.-and he WILL be found "dead" somewhere-cuz he's tired of this whole intel game, and misses his wife and kids, and feels things are getting a little hairy for him, so he's now on his cell phone with his broker under some other name, in Bel Air California, sitting by the pool, as his maids, imported from a press-ignorant country, hand him a tray with his favorite meal of lamb with mint/apple jelly, rice, plain yogurt, pita bread and pear juice....heh heh

The Saudis are saying they heard he was sick from a water borne illness, not unusual in that part of the world. Any way it goes, it doesn't mean the war on terror will end. Bush has already said that many times.

My understanding is that it is alleged he did die if it hasn't been confirmed as yet. Personally i hope he didn't die because i would like to see him taken to an international war crime tribunal with a few of his comrades ... Bit like the Nuremberg trial for the nazis! Secondly it doesn't make me feel any better than i did because he sure arranged for his succession well in advance. After someone like Osama, my fears are his successors will make a point of showing they can be just as lethal if not worse. War on terror will go on because none of us are safe while people like them can still roam free.

I hope he is dead, but Bush won't stop the "War on Terror" because of it.
