Where are you from and how much is housing in your area for let's say a 2,200-2,500sq.ft. home?

Hey cutie...The housing in my area is $250,000-$350,000. Why don't you come out here and see for yourself...you can stay with me...I promise you won't be disappointed ;)

In my area, which is lake community, a home that big would probably cost $300,000. It depends on it's history, upkeep, and definately location. I live in Wisconsin and the county that I live in is the 2nd highest in the NATION for property taxes and cost of homes. If a house that size was on the lake, I bet it would be closer to $500,000, and I bet you would pay $8,000 a year in property tax.

I'm from Long Island. The houses can range from 395,000 (western LI - Closer to NYC) to 20 million dollars on the eastern section of Long Island (Hamptons)
Property Taxes can range from 3,000 (usually senior citizen residents) to 10,000 (for 2 family homes) for nomal family's (with 5 people) it can be as much as $7,000.

For a low end one = $135,000.oo
For a higher end one = $390,000.oo
Remember if you truly want financial freedom NEVER purchase a house worth more than 2 years of your income. Sound pretty cheap ? Well it all depends upon how hard you want to work for the rest of you life.
Life is good when you have more money coming in than you have going out... That's just common sense!!!

In north western VA existing would run between 250,000 - 400,000. new around 450,000 - 600,000.
In northern VA anywhere from 750,000 - 1 million depending on your location in the cities and towns.
I am originally from western NY (Buffalo area) and it would range from 20,000 - 150,000 depending on the neighborhood. Yes I said 20K. Talk about sticker shock!

Depends greatly what area.Further out or areas coming back about $250,000 maybe even 200,000
