mmm tricky-stone roses only ever made one good album,oasis have made about 2 and a half-the roses album happens to be one of the greatest debut albums ever recorded-in fact it is the greatest debut album ever recorded!oasis on the other hand have had a career that if you add up all the good bits-they just about add up to the roses.
if oasis had split after whats the story i think that theyd edge it,but being as they didnt and being as ill forgive the roses pretty much anything(even the second coming-even ian brown shamelessly trying to recreate the songs with his rubbish new band)then the roses get my vote-i have to say though that its mighty close-and if slide away or stay young come on the launchcast before i finish typing this-ill have to do this all over again!!!!!

stone roses 1 very good album, oasis 2 good albums. draw. a band better than both is s*m*a*s*h, around at the same time. thier self abused album isnt dated, unlike stone roses and oasis.
