You haven't seen ANYTHING until you've seen Carlos Santana live, I did last night.
Bassist, tough one, Tobin from Papa Roach is good, Flea is good but it seems like he can't just play a regular bass line, it always has to be something fancy. The bassist from Santana's band is also great, all I remember about him is that he was wearing an Astro Boy shirt at the concert last night and during his solo they played an Astro Boy clip.
There's a lot of good drummers out there, not easy to pick one. Charlie Watts is good, except he never really does anything big. He makes the slower, blander style look really good. The rest of the ones I can name haven't really done anything special, and not to mention Charlie is a cancer suvivor.
Vocalist, now this is where it gets interesting. I'd have to say Mark Knopfler, mainly because of "Brothers In Arms". I'd also have to say Pink Floyd as a whole because of all the synchs. they did. I think all of side 1 of "Dark Side of the Moon" ("Breathe" and "Time") is all synchs. and "Us and Them" is incredible too.
