As long as that player is "good gate" the NFL will keep them around. They might get a fine but when your making millions a 10 or 20 thousand dollar fine is just a drop in the bucket. Even in there drug abuse policy the player gets several chances before they're history!

if players have problems with the law, they end up suspended. The NFL itself doesn't have to fire em, they eventually just drop out of existance. first they miss a game, then 4, then a whole year, and eventually (that is if they keep messing up) nobody will bother to hire him.

The closest they'll come is with their substance-abuse policy, which you have to violate like four times before you'll get banned for life.

Aside from that, if a player is "problematic" enough, they will be barred from the league, in that they'll end up in prison.

Otherwise, it's not illegal to be an ******.

Are you blind? The worst that happens to them is that they get traded. If you got rid of all the lowlife, scumbag, criminal types, I don't you could field 32 teams.

probably not-but they should. youd be surprised as to how that would make players think twice before screwing up if they lose their careers and money
