is there a chance?

My husband and I want a baby girl so bad. We had sex on ovulation day or maybe a day after it, is it possible that I get pregnant with a girl? People told me that you will get pregnant with a baby boy. Anyone got pregnant with a girl?

The chance of a boy versus a girl doesn't vary much. It depends on what percentage of your husbands sperm was female or male. I'd say you have about a fifty-fifty chance.

okay. I think I understand the question. You mean gender prediction right. Okay, so here's how it works. If you want a boy you should have sex the day before and day of ovulation because boy sperm swim faster than female sperm and they die quickly. If you want a baby girl than you are going to want to have sex 2-3 days prior to your ovulation date. because girl sperm swill slowly but they live longer than males. And so far it stands true because I am now pregnant with my second daughter after having sex 4-2 days before my ovulation day

There is an article at babyhopes.com and babyzone.com about choosing the sex of your baby.It says if you want to have a girl you must have sex a few days before ovulation, because the girl sperm cell move faster and if you want to have a boy, have sex on ovulation day, because the boy sperm cell move slow.

i kinda understand ur question the chance are low because boy sprem swim quick then the girl & I think havin sex 2 day before ovulation is good so that most of the boy die n da girl r still in ur body cause girl swim slower but live long n boy swim fast & live shorter

1. Are you trying to have a girl ? Ovulation does not determine
the sex of a child.

You have the best chance of conceiving on the day of ovulation.

I think that what you are referring to is the Shettles Method (go to www.fertilityfriend.com and type Shettles in the search tool).
