is there a common DNA or some other trait that we as humans share with every living and growing thing on earth aswell as some of the oldest fosils that have been found? if so what is it and where can i find more information on this type of subject.....

one main thing....all the genetic material of animals, humans, insects, whatever.......... is made up of amino acids. Also the presence of carbon in all living things and once-living things. Fossils were once living and contain carbon, always, doesn't matter if it is the fossil of a plant, human, insect, whatever you can think of that was once living or is still living now. Please note that plants and very small organisms such as bacteria and other microorganisms are also living things
