Running two firewalls can be harmful to your computer and can cause conflicts in the system the one supplied in your security package should be ok,but if not disable that one and re-activate windows firewall,in my experience the package firewalls are better than windows.

Open the control panel select Windows Firewall and re-enable. However, if you are using another firewall there is really no need to enable the Windows firewall.

im running 3 firewalls they only conflict if they aren't setup right - windows firewall is worth having switched on but it has gaps in it because "black hats" that attempt to enter other people systems practice on it (hence so many microsoft security updates), i have a full internet security package from my ISP but although it runs smoothly most of the time does "fall over" occaisionally normally it is another part of the program fails but the whole package needs restarting, i also have AVG anti virus and sygate firewall so if my other package is restarting i'm still secure, it is also a good idea to have lavasoft ad aware or/and spybot search and deystroy

just go into windows security settings and turn it back on. and yes, running 2 firewalls at the same time can mess with your computer big time. they will conflict with each other and could make your computer freeze up.

Click start, controll panel, secuity, turn on firewall, click DO NOT ALLOW EXCEPTIONS, and you will be ok. You DO NOT need two (2) Firewalls.
