eg. your senior or boss cracks a sh!tty joke, and since its your boss.. u HAVE to laugh..

Yes...sometimes you just have to do it. People's feelings get hurt when they tell a joke and it is not funny.

Yep but only to help out a friend in a situation so they don't feel bad or alienated in a crowd.
But those corporate as s-kissers are the worst! They don't smile all day long but when the boss is around, the 'corporate giggle' emerges. Sickening!

Of course! I fake laugh when someone tells a joke that's supposed to be funny and it's not. I just pretend it is and laugh.

Yes. If your friend makes a joke and it isn't funny, I just laugh to make him feel good and so he will stay my friend.

I deal with that situation daily..........however, MOST of the time; I just DON'T laugh.........when it's not funny........
... but I give the occasional... HA ha.... (or the fake snort)... lol!
