The exact phrase does not occur in the Bible. The phrase "fear not" occurs a total of 67 (oops, I mean 63) times.

"Do not fear" is not in the KJV of the Bible. I can add that the phrase "be not afraid" occurs 26 times. Since others added their phrases, I thought I would add this one. For reference, I used a program called Online Bible.

wow!!! Awesome Question!!!!!!! And honestly I really could not tell you except that in 2Timothy 1:7 says, "For God hath not given us the Spirit of Fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." And the New Testament frequently says "Do not fear" because God is letting His people know that He is in control He will never leave them nor forsake them. And as long as they trust in Him (God), they have absolutely nothing to worry about.
