hi i am 12 and my dad says i can get my belly button done when i am 13 it is my birthday in 3 months shall i wait or keep begging ?

Wiat!!!! My friend got her belly button peirced when she was 12. She diffenetly regreted it. She said that when guys saw it with out the ring in, they almost threw up. Now sh'es sixteen like me and her belly button is infected becuase A) the needle they used was infected B) She kept playing with the ring C) OF, course she was too young. Now, I know you hate it when ppl say your too young to drink and party and bla bla bla.... but trust me on this! My friend is just one of the few who have infections becuase of peircing too early. And besides, that ring will look tacky.

I think you are way too young. But then again I am a parent with a 10 year old daughter, I'm 27 ..you do the math. All you are going to do is draw unwanted attention from older guys possibly men. Why would you want to pierce your belly button anyway? It's not like it's a pleasant experience, and there's always a chance of getting an infection. Do you have your ears pierced, do you have problems with them? Chances are if you do your belly button will react the same way if not worse. I'm going to get off my soap box now. Just take it from someone who's been there don't try to grow up too fast, or you may end up like me...having a baby at 16.

Wait the three months because if you keep begging you might not be able to till you are 16 or 18.
A kid in my class has her eyebrow, bellybutton, 3 holes in each ear, and lip( I think). She was like 11 when she got it done. And plus she is pregnant and she moved to another school.
Be glad that your dad will let you.I do not even think about haveing it done because it is to young and dumb.

I don't think you should get your belly button done at all. Even 13 yrs. is too young. I know someone who had it done when she was 18 yrs. and it got so infected she had to have a doctor remove it.

Well depends....are u ready to feel the harsh pain in your belly. If you are be sure to clean your belly button everyday cuz if you dont it might get infected and you might have to take it out. You wouldnt want that to happen.

I think being a 12 years old is still too young to have pirecings in other parts of your body besides your ears. Can you say, be more responsible?

No, too youthful (i'm 15, do not desire one in any respect although) they are not warm, although. i love piercings, yet abdomen button is kinda grody. I advise, i had to attend til i changed into 15 to easily get the 2d hollow in my ear, and am capturing for nostril for my sixteenth, yet i ought to attend til your 16 (OR OLDER*) yet at 14, no way.
