Yes, I was out with my hubby and some guy pulled a penknife of all things and demanded money. My hubby only hit him once and he went down like a bag of potatoes. then hailed a police car that happened to be cruising.
Turns out the idiot was wanted for a string of similar offences and he got 2 years in gaol and a sore jaw for his trouble.
Hubby is an ex-para.
Handy huh?

Was threatened when I was about 14 by someone with an iron bar. I felt scared but adrenaline took over, after he hit me, and I made a hasty retreat.

Someone spilled a glass of beer on me and when I looked at them (natural reaction) they threatened to glass me by smashing the glass on the bar and holding it upwards at me.
I was enraged so I decked him.
I didn't even contemplate the idea of fear!
I carried on with my night as usual but the adrenaline was rushing through me like a freight train for hours.

I ended up talking to a guy in a club and he started off very friendly. I said nothing provokative at all, and then suddenly he produced a knife on me without warning. Fortunately he just seemed to be showing it off and didn't use it and my mate saw what was going on and got the bouncers to chuck him out.
It could have been so much worse

Have been shot twice, stabbed twice, threatened thousands of times.I felt extremely angry,some fear the first time I was shot, a little anxious and a whole bunch of adrenaline. The pain came later.

Once i had rather a nasty moment with a garden gnome. I guess gnomes can be like that though. I stood up and stretched my wings, before giving him, and his fishing rod a good talking to. He won't frighten fairies again i can tell you. Gnomes are bullies. X

coming home from the kebab shop one night some geezer followed me and my partner and threatened us with an iron bar.My boyf told me to grab the kebabs but i didnt i grabbed the metal bar off the geezer and hit him with it! he then run off iam not usually violent but i couldnt believe i was being threatened in my own neighbourhood!
