If You have NOT had sexual Intercourse-then it is just your body conserving its energy by not letting you menstruate!

If you change your eating habits(i.e Reduce intake) , are Stressed, suffered Trauma the body does this to protect you!
I'm sure you will regain your normal rhythmn-Don't panic

Over active ovaries. I have them too. I usually get 2 periods a month but sometimes 1 (when I wasn't pregnant anyway) The only way to regulate them is to get on birth control. If you don't want birth control a good option is the pill. It WILL regulate you. Just take it for like 3 months, then stop (when your supposed to for your period.) Just don't take it again. And you should be back on track.

are you around different women more than usual lately? it sounds wierd, but women's bodies will adjust their cycle to all be on the same routine. I work in an office with 4 women, where I just started recently, and all our periods are messed up now, trying to adjust to each other. it's not a health issue--just a natural thing. I checked with my doctor, and he confirmed it.
Also, things like stress and too much exercise/ not enough fat can mess up your period cycle too.
See a doctor if it makes you nervous, especially if you are sexually active. Sometimes women can be pregnant without even knowing it. Good luck!
