maybe warm the babies formula. and keep the blanket tight on the baby so the baby feels comforted. maybe put the bumber pads on both sides of her with the tight blanket and the use bumbers that may make him/her feel more secure. But she just probably waking up bc she is hungry you might just have to deal. i been there too. just try those things i listed and if they do not work then the baby is waking up bc he/she is hungry. I put my baby in or really close to my room so i did not have to go so far in the middle of the night.
good luck

Don't dare give a baby Benedryl just to make the baby sleep. NO! NO! NO! Not a 12 week old. Check it out, most Moms are incredibly fortunate if they have a baby that sleeps through the night by 3 months old. Sorry tired Mommy, just hang in there, this too shall pass. I found that keeping the crib in my bedroom was when my youngest daughter quit waking up and crying every 4 hours. Had her sleeping through the night at two months. Good luck.

Sorry to tell you this, but the baby will sleep through the night when he/she is ready. My 6 mo. old finally started sleeping through the night this week. I think he slept for 6 hours straight a few times when he was 10 wks. old. Ever since then, he woke up at 1:30 and 4:30--religiously until this week. Please, please, please don't give your baby cereal in his bottle, medicine (unnecesarily) or alcohol!!! Your baby is the most precious thing in the world to you, don't experiment with him/her. Let nature do it's thing. For more information and support, join a yahoo group, there are a few on infant sleep. I also recommend going to your local library and getting a book on infant sleep, there are quite a few that talk about starting a bedtime routine and teaching your baby to put him/herself back to sleep.

Feed that baby! It's all about weight. The bigger the baby, the longer baby will sleep. Also, when baby cries at night, wait a few minutes before getting baby. Don't jump right up.

You don't plain and simple, their little tummies are simply to small to hold enough food for them not to wake up hungry, second of all what is your definition of through the night? If your baby is sleeping up to 6 hours at 12 weeks that is through the night for him/her

good luck. Unless you're lucky babies rarely sleep throu the night until after theyre 1. My 9 month old still has trouble sometime. But get a routine started, it may help.

Let your son eat when he needs to. You could try feeding him right before bed and see if this helps.

my dad put tequila on a q-tip and put it on our (me and my brother) gums while we were cutting teeth. he said it put us out like a light.
my mom put a clock (not digital) under our pillow. it sounds like a heartbeat makes you feel like your still in the womb
