You do know that even though that bar is there, what you are doing, especially on a network, can be monitored. If your company states the computers are for business as most do, do yourself a favor and bring a handheld game. It would be stupid to be fired for playing a computer game.

I think your idea of "down time" doesn not fit with your employer's ida of it. That sign indicated they think you should have no downtime and should find useful activities even if you are not working on an urgent project.
After they catch you playing games you are going to be out of there within 2 weeks or less. It is your choice.

you dont because even DOWN time is *still* THEIR time and they are *still* paying you, that is why it would be unethical for you to do this! Please, just stick to the rules, and if you are that bored, by a hand held game boy or get a laptop and do your thing, but you dont want to loose your job, or a good reference, for getting caught going around computer security. BAD BAD BAD idea, maybe even illegal!

I don't know the name of this type of service, but the idea of this service is... You pay to us a web site that secures all computer activity. Once you are on this site you log on to the game from there. Of course if they have blocked that kind of server also, you may be S.O.L..
CyberNara
P.S. I agree it is a bad idea with all of you, but the decision is still theirs...

maybe you should do your work, and play games at home; or you could get caught and still wind up playing at home...
