Go to yahoo's people search.

Or try searching the email address's profile.

Yahoo emails are very hard to trace because you don't have to give real info to get one. The very best you could do is look at the email headers & narrow down what isp this person is using to connect & the ip address of the isp to try & narrow down an area. But this is not a fool proof way beause the ip's can be registered to a different area other than where the scammer is connecting at.

A better & safer bet would be to not deal with this individual at all. If it walks like a duck, quakes like a duck it's probably a duck.

The great thing about yahoo email addresses is that anybody can get one and you have no idea who it realy is.

Try doing a yahoo or google search with the email address, and see what comes up. If it is who they say it is, it should come up somewhere with their name.

If that person is only using a yahoo email and doesn't have a legit one he's using thru his internet provider, don't trust him! Call your bank and ask how a person may legitimally transfer funds to you. You also don't want your identity stolen, so just be very careful.
