It's keeping GWB in power isn't it?

It can't justify itself for that. My personal rights were jeopardized by the legal system and when I stood up and let them know I knew my rights they all became quiet. (Until one of them went in the hall and was overheard talking about what I had said and went on to ridicule me with her colleague) Bottom line is that we have to stand up for what's right. Despite the idiots in the legal system.

a difficult legalistic and sometimes a moral question...but you have to agree that at the end it is a political decision. it does jeopardizes (as you call it) some of the personal rights of "some of its citizens" for the greater majority! This is part of the answer and for lack of a better one you have to accept this as a "best" answer which is politically correct.

i totally agree. most of excuse me almost all of the people in the legal system just want to get their name on something(abill or law)so that their name will then be recognizable to the viewing public and they will be known. they dont care after that. half of them couldnt even tell you what they signed or what the current laws are.
