Depends on how fancy the keyboard actually is, the Brand, I mean if its a Korg can be pricey, Yamahas aren't that expensive at all man I have a Yamaha that has all kinds of things I can hook it up to an amp and cabinets if I wanted to and I only paid $200 dollars for it... perhaps certain instruments are cheaper in the US I don't know.. I got it cause I play piano, but my main thing is guitar so I take good pride on my axes... go to musiciansfriend, Sam Ash online and look around they even describe all the advantages and disadvantages of the instrument, and all the effects the keyboard has, and if you can hook it up to an amp and speakers etc..

Good Luck, hope you find what you're looking for
if not buy a mini moog lol

You can usually pick up keyboards for PC's starting at $5.00 for a basic unit. They go up from there but even the upper end of keyboards is relatively cheap. Try going to newegg.com or tigerdirect.com

Depends what you are talking about Music? Computer?
Music keyboards vary depending on what you want and whether you buy new or second hand.
I do not know why you do not take a look on e bay and get some idea of new and second hand prices for whatever you are looking for.
