A lot of tattoo parlors will not tattoo below the wrist. It's against the law in a lot of states to get one on the wrist or hand. If you can find someone to do it, go for it! It's just really thin skin and there's a great possibility for it to tear with the needle...

The only time I don't get asked for my ID is when I go to a place I've been going to for years and the guy knows me very well. However, if I went to a new place and no one checked my ID, I'd leave. In a heartbeat. I would never want someone breaking the law to put ink in me. That's disgusting. I like my artists to have respect for what they do. Enough to not break the law just to get more money.

I have one there and so does my husband. Some people stop there because they still can cover the tattoos up with a long sleeve shirt

People get them there. It's just that is where your sleeve ends. You can pretty much tattoo anywhere on the body.

you can get tattoos anywhere. the wrist is just somewhere people stop so that when theyre older they can get a good job. employers run a mile when they see a tattoo. another reason why the neck's not a good idea!!! x

You can get a tattoo ANYWHERE! thee are ppl that have 100% coverage on thier bodies. But "sleeves" are just that. they stop like a sleeve on your shirt does. I have 8 med-big sizes tattoos I love mine. Just ask alot of questions and ask to see thier license! good luck

My best friend got a tattoo there, so yes, they do them. She said it didn't even hurt. Granted, it's pretty small...like 1in by 1in.
