I am 34 weeks preggo and I am experiencing so much pain and pressure in my pubic area that it is hard to walk or move. I have to hobble around because walking normal hurts so bad. I am fine as long as I am sitting still but if I have to move, I start to feel the pain again. I asked my doctor, and she said it is normal but I am begining to think that its not. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it in fact normal?

Well i am happy to tell you its perfectly normal. the baby is getting ready to be born and its head is pressing way down there Hun, it feels like a ten ton truck on your pelvis right? Its normal and i am afraid all part of been pregnant, not much help am I but do not worry. take it easy put your feet up when you can. rest well and when sleeping use a pillow under your stomach to support yourself a bit more and one between your legs, this makes sleeping so much easier.

It is perfectly normal I just had my son he is 3 weeks old. And a 34 weeks I could not sleep, I barely could walk and was in pain and 2 days before I was 39 weeks my DR. took mercy on me and admitted me and gave me IV medication that night so I could get a good nights sleep and induced me the next morning. SO if you can make it 4-5 more weeks they might induce just take it easy and take a lot of shower and soaks in the tub and get massages it helps. Good luck.

I had the same problem with my first pregnancy and am now experiencing it even more with this one. Your uteris is sinking lower and so your pelvis is spreading to make room for when you have that baby. It is perfectly normal though, so don't worry. Hang in there, it will be over soon. And what you get in the end is all worth it. I promise. Good luck and congrats.

i started feeling this a week or 2 ago and last week had u/s and confirmed that dr. said it was probably because she moved into head down position. mine is more of a constant pressure than a come and go pain - so if this is like yours, then i would say the head is pushing against the pelvic bone more than the possibility of braxton hicks.

That's the baby dropping. You will be giving birth soon, your body and baby are getting into the position for birth! Yes, it's uncomforable, but just try to relax as much as possible. Put your feet up right now if you can. If it really gets to be too much, take a nice warm bath, not too hot. If it goes away, fantastic, if not, see if you are having contractions.

Congratultaions!
