I heard yogurt is good but it does not cure it just prevents it.

Try white vinegar douches [one tablespoon of Heinz white vinegar to a pint of water], twice a day for 5-7 days. This solution will turn the vagina acidic, and candida albicans [the microscopic yeast which causes infection] can only survive in an alkaline environment. If there's no improvement after trying this remedy, get an OTC medication like Monistat, Gyne-Lotrimin, etc; or, go to a doctor for treatment.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

There are hundreds of over the counter remedies for the specific treatment of yeast infection, these remedies are all derived from extracts from natural hurbs, they are clinically tested and safer than experimenting with home remedies.

This would be the safest corse of action you can take to treat a yeast infection.

Be careful with what you insert into your vagina you can acturally worsen your existing condition.

A yogurt soaked tampon will do it. Make sure it's plain yogurt though of course. You can tie a string around some garlic and insert it and leave it there over night. I haven't tried these things (never had a yeast beast) but, they've been known to work.

Yogurt but don't eat it. Sounds gross but put plain yogurt on your vagina. It really works.
