YES! even if you were the only one that was in love. That can count as your first love. How can these other people tell you no that you both have to be in love. That is not true. Thank about it you know how you feel an if you feel real good when you are around him an you just love every thing about him even if you don't know how he feel. YES THIS CAN COUNT AS YOUR FIRST LOVE.

You could say he is your first unrequited love. But here's an idea...why not bite the bullet and see what he's feeling about you? What's the worst that could happen? Even if it turns out he doesn't feel the same way, at least now you know. The sun is still gonna come up tomorrow.
It would HAVE to be better than feeling your heart stop every time you see him.

Sure, why not. Love is love right? I still remember mine. He was a childhood friend who was in my class all the way through second grade till we both moved.:( He didn't know about it tho. I have a long scar on my arm that I got at his house on his slide. I get to think of him every time I look at my arm. Ah, childhood love. It never really fades does it.

yes b/c i still have the guy that I was in love with for 4 years now , but now he moved on with someone else. but we're still friends and that- not saying it's going to happen to you just giving my point of view. Hope it works out!

the feeling doesnt have to be mutual to be be called first love.
