Yes, I've been murdered twice but god and the devil spent so long arguing over who should have me (neither wanted me!!) that they let me come back to life the first time and the second time I just came back on my own cos I knew which door to use!

Ha ha have you read what the stupid b*tch 'dizzo gurl' wrote? What an idiot! Obviously she has no idea what you are on about! And she can't spell awkward; probably some stupid little kid.

I know what you mean though. When was the last time the newspaper said:
John Smith (30) was murdered last week, but he was a gaywad and unliked by all, everyone is glad to see him gone. Wife is pleased enough because she got money from the insurance.

When murders happen or someone gets killed in gangland crap etc, all the hypocrites comes out of the woodwork...makes me sick! You can almost count the time between the family coming on the stage for the press conference to when they start spouting it all...he was wonderful, loving etc etc, dont mention the violence he dished out, the drugs, the stealing, the weapons he carried, the people he bullied etc etc, cant speak ill of the dead...why, they can;t hurt us anymore...

I feel your frustration! I have personal knowledge of this. One example-a very wealthy, respected man's obit read,"He loved gardening and reading books", etc. This particular individual frequentled strip bars, charging $5,000 to sometimes $10,000 to his credit card buying drinks and bottles of cheap champange for the dancers. He was very abusive, both physically and verbally, to the girls. Money does not give you class-he was an emotional cripple to be so abusive to feel so superior. But, he loved gardening and reading!

Tell me about it! Dont you just wish that for once, someone being filmed for the news or something would just turn round and say ' they were a b*itch and deserved everything they got. no-ones going to miss them'
its all very hypocritical that we cant stand someone when they're alive, but as soon as something happens to them they we're such a marvelous person!

No they haven't. Also in case of underage victim, add "Excellent scholar liked and respected by teachers and pupils alike."

My buddy died in a car crash. he was a bit of a dick, seriously hated by all the teachers and completely useless at school work. Epitaph in paper read as above.

God Bless Im....

omg I know! it seems like everyone who ever had bad things happen to them was beautiful, blonde, talented, and intelligent (eg Elizabeth smart, jonbenet ramsey...) I think it's just easier for the news stations to put footage of them up than any other non-perfect person.

Of course they have. But media dont want to report bad things about someone who has just died. Media has a massive influence on peoples day to day 'acquisition of facts', it isnt all true.

Not all funerals are packed.

You want an example?
Jeffrey Dahmer was beaten to death in prison, and I doubt his epitaph was too positive!!

I know what you mean though - it's hypocrisy.
Remember the phrase "Don't speak ill of the dead" - that's why it happens.
