this depends on what you mean by pennies and what you mean by pound?

Do you mean the English pound, their currency, or do you mean a pound as a measure of weight?

Whose pennies are you using? There is no set weight for pennies around the world. Canadian pennies weigh less than American pennies and are worth less.

The GBP is currently worth 2.046 Canadian dollars, which is 204.6 pennies canadian.
Sorry, but I don't live in the states (obviously), but for $204.60 you;d get $182.00 USD, so approxiametley a pound is 182 us pennies
